Known Issues

These are some of the bugs in the latest builds. We are working on fixing them.

Installation and Add-ons:

• Adobe Flash and other plugins are not supported yet (bug 630007).
• Starting the app for the first time takes a while while it installs some files and sets up a profile. Later startup times are much faster.

Performance and stability:

• Firefox causes the Motorola Droid to freeze completely when loading certain web sites, or at other random times (bug 602252).
• Firefox causes the Nexus S to freeze completely when loading certain web sites or opening many tabs (bug 624652, fixed in Android 2.3.3).
• Firefox's JIT compiler is disabled on Samsung Galaxy S phones running Android 2.1 because of a bug in their 2.1 kernel, making Firefox slower than on other devices. Galaxy S phones already running Android 2.2 "Froyo" are not affected. (bug 601222, bug 603624).

User Interface:
• Copy and Paste do not yet work for text in web pages (bug 661388, fixed in Firefox 7 (Nightly)).
• The SwiftKey keyboard crashes when used with Firefox (bug 617298, fixed in Firefox 5).

The chess engine that eventually evolved into Treebeard sprouted back 1976 within the chess program Merlin. In the nearly two decades that followed, its code morphed and had a notable appearance from 1997-2003 as the force behind Shotest, a world-renown Shogi program. The game analysis Treebeard uses is unique and proprietary to AI Factory: unlike conventional programs, the engine does not search millions of positions to counter your moves. Instead, Treebeard uses a probability-directed search to examine fewer positions but with greater detail.

If you have played Angry Birds, this will feel familiar: you have to adjust the angle of your shots to take out the highest number of zombies with each bullet. Each shot can ricochet in all directions, and by judging your angle and figuring out the path of the bullet, your goal is to take out all the zombies with as few shots possible. You are given five shots on each level or board. But the fewer shots you use, the higher your total score on each board.

Players have to clear each level of the undead to move on to the next. Each level has 30 subsets of levels. Taking down all the zombies on any level will give you the ability to move onto the next level in the set, with several total sets available for unlocking. When you accumulate enough stars, a new set of levels are unlocked. Later levels bring buttons that open and close off various sections on the level that have to be manipulated at the right times to allow you the access you need at the right times.
