Button Soccer is mostly played in Hungary and Brazil, where it is known as Button Football. The game simulates soccer: The board depicts a soccer field and players control a team of discs (or rings). They move the disc "players" around by flicking or pressing their edges and try to hit a smaller disc (the ball). As with regular soccer, the object of the game is to advance the ball and knock it into the other team's goal. Details include free throws, fouls, and penalty kicks.
